Your stay at a glance

Get in touch with us

We invite you to send us your patient record, which will be forwarded confidentially to your assigned medical coordinator.

We recommend that you provide us with as much documentation as possible so that we can suggest the most suitable programme for you.

The information we absolutely need includes:

  • Description of symptoms
  • Medical reports and diagnoses
  • Medical images: Ultrasound, CT or MRI files (DICOM files)
  • Laboratory results

and any other information you may find useful.

Needs assessment for all aspects of treatment and accommodation

We will confirm that we have received your request and will contact you to ask you for details of the additional services you would like: type of room, number of chaperones, interpreting service, etc.

Individual support services

Once we have taken note of your needs, your coordinator will draw up an individual service offer based on medical recommendations. Your coordinator will be happy to help you apply for visas, airport transfers and interpreting services.

Confirmation of your stay

Upon confirmation of your stay, you will be asked to pay a deposit equal to the cost estimate. This allows you to plan your arrival in the best possible conditions.

At the end of your stay, we may refund the remaining amount of this deposit.

Your arrival

If you wish, we can arrange for you to be picked up by limousine or, if necessary, arrange transport with medical care. A member of our team will welcome you to the clinic and escort you to your room.

Your stay

Throughout your stay, you can contact your coordinator, who will be your main contact person. Medical questions are forwarded to the treating doctor, who will answer you at any time.

The coordination team can also organise transport, a day at the spa, local excursions or a stay at one of the renowned hotels of our partner hotel group Michel Reybier Hospitality.

Your departure and aftercare

When your programme is complete, your coordinator will send your medical report and organise your follow-up appointments.

Even after your departure, the coordinator will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Frequently asked questions

What languages do you speak?

The coordination staff cover the following languages together: German, English, French, Russian, Italian and Chinese.
If your language is not represented, we can hire an interpreter to assist you with consultations and/or therapies for an additional fee.

What information do I need to provide in order to receive a quote?

It is very important that you provide our medical staff with as much general and up-to-date medical information as possible (reports of previous visits, laboratory results, imaging procedures, etc.).
This allows us to create an individual medical programme and provide you with an appropriate cost estimate.

Is the offer for a medical programme or treatment subject to a charge?

Only inquiries relating to oncological cases are subject to a charge.

What is an initial assessment and how is it calculated?

The initial assessment is an estimate of treatment costs made by our professionals based on the documents and information you provide. To ensure that the estimate corresponds to reality, it is extremely important that you provide us with as much medical data as possible in advance.

What is your payment policy?

All patients are asked to pay the full amount of the cost estimate before or at the latest on the day of arrival.
We accept payments in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer.
The required down payment will be refunded to you in part or in full based on the final invoice.

Can you help me arrange transportation to and from the clinic?

Yes. We have our own limousine service and can arrange airport transfers or other transfers you may need during your stay.

Can you help me organise my trip to Switzerland?

Yes, we can help you apply for visas, hotel reservations (if required) and transport services.

Can I bring a chaperone to the clinic where I am being cared for?

Yes, we can accommodate a chaperone during your stay, either in your room or in a separate room or suite.
For further information, please contact us right away.

Is it possible to order menus that are tailored to specific dietary requirements, such as specific diets, intolerances, allergies or halal products?

Yes, of course. If you provide us with relevant information about your dietary preferences before your stay, we will be happy to adjust our menus accordingly.

Are there any beauty services on offer at your clinics?

Some of our clinics have hairdressing salons and offer beauty treatments for the skin. If these services are not available directly at the hospital, we can organise external services at your request.

What happens if additional examinations are required during my treatment and/or my hospital stay has to be extended?

Based on the medical assessment (progress of treatment, examination results, course of rehabilitation, medical opinion, etc.), the doctor may recommend and prescribe adjustments to treatment and/or additional examinations. The original offer can therefore be adjusted at a later date with your consent and all additional services will be invoiced accordingly.

Can I leave the clinic during my stay or my treatment?

Any request for discharge requires the prior written consent of the treating doctor.

Can I have my meals elsewhere than in my room?

Most of our hospitals offer high-quality gourmet meals, which are served in their own restaurants.  With the exception of breakfast, which is only served in the room, meals can be eaten in the clinic’s restaurant or in your room.

Can I take my medical reports home with me?

Yes. We will send you the complete medical documentation as soon as we have received all the necessary information from the attending doctors. The file contains all medical reports, laboratory results and radiological images (X-rays).

Is my final medical report available in another language?

Reports can also be written in English upon request. On request and for a fee, we can arrange for medical reports to be translated.

What should I do if I need a specific medical device after my return?

Our medical or coordination teams will help you to procure all the necessary materials.
