What is a check-up?

A check-up is a structured medical examination that aims to analyse your current state of health and detect any latent or chronic diseases at an early stage. Preventive medical check-ups are an important part of preventive medicine.

The procedure includes:

  • Medical history interview with a specialist in internal medicine
  • Family and medical history
  • Clinical examination
  • Blood and urine analyses (depending on the programme)
  • Radiological or cardiological examinations (e.g. ultrasound, ECG, lung function tests)
  • Individual risk analysis and medical consultation
  • Evaluation and medical report
  • Recommendation of a follow-up or treatment plan if necessary

The entire process is efficiently structured and can be completed in half a day to a full day in most cases.

We recommend that you check with your health insurance provider individually.

How do I prepare?

You will be asked to provide us with your medical information so that we can tailor the check-up to your needs. Depending on the scope of the examination, you will receive all the necessary information in advance to help you prepare (e.g. fasting before the appointment, medication, breaks from exercise).
