Monitoring after regional or general anaesthesia lasts about one to four hours, depending on the size of the operation. The aim of post-operative monitoring is to ensure that our patients are pain-free, well awake and have a stable circulation before they are transferred back to the ward or discharged home.
The staff on site consists of nursing assistants, qualified nursing specialists, technical operating theatre specialists and anaesthesia specialists. This means that there is always a specialist on site to provide you with competent and professional care.
The ward is located directly next to the operating theatres, so that anaesthesia can be called in quickly. Every seat is equipped with a monitoring system, which ensures continuous supervision.
Surgical interventions are carried out in 3 bright operating theatres in compliance with the highest standards of quality and hygiene. Our anaesthesia specialists guarantee competent pre- and post-operative care. Short and efficient distances are a matter of course for us.
Our patients are centrally monitored in the entire operating theatre area and cared for by a well-coordinated and experienced surgical anaesthesia team. This also includes our bright post-operative monitoring wards.
