Philosophy

First-class multidisciplinary medical care for over a century.

Multidisciplinarity

The Clinique de Valère adopts a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Every effort is made to ensure collaboration between each player from the patient's arrival to their discharge.

Several teams, different professions and different people are united around a common objective: optimal care.

Clinic that focuses on empathy

The Clinique de Valère is expanding and modernising, but remains above all a clinic on a familiar scale.

The human being is at the centre and everything is done to guarantee a warm environment. Moreover, the clinic welcomes all patients, regardless of their insurance coverage.

Expertise

The Clinique de Valère benefits from the expertise of recognised practitioners in both surgical and medical fields. Thanks to its competence centres, the clinic offers a range of high medical competence associated with personalised care.

The quality approach of the Clinique de Valère, a member of the Swiss Medical Network, is in line with the group's strategy, which aims at excellence of service for its patients and doctors at all times.

Our mission

Located in the heart of Sion, the Clinique de Valère is the oldest acute care facility in the Valais. In collaboration with more than 60 doctors, its 180 employees provide the best possible care to several thousand patients every year. In a relaxing environment and a warm atmosphere, the clinic offers personalised medical care for all Valaisans, regardless of their insurance coverage (public, semi-private and private).

Since 2013, the Clinique de Valère has been part of the Swiss Medical Network, a network of clinics and medical centres throughout Switzerland, and is registered on the hospital list of the Canton of Valais.

The Clinique de Valère has received mandates from the State of Valais for general surgery and internal medicine as well as specialised mandates in orthopaedic and visceral surgery, gynaecology and urology. It is recognised by the Swiss Society for the Study of Morbid Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (SMOB) as a centre specialising in obesity surgery (bariatric surgery). The clinic also offers services in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

In addition, the clinic provides a wide range of outpatient services, including cardiology and interventional radiology and gastroenterology.
