Specialised in orthopaedic and neurological rehabilitation, the Clinique Valmont is a reference rehabilitation centre for doctors and hospitals in French-speaking Switzerland thanks to its unequalled therapeutic efficiency, its competent teams and its state-of-the-art technical facilities.
Our primary objective is to accompany our patients in the recovery of their physical and motor integrity, in order to enable them to regain a quality of life similar to that which they have previously known. Whether it is an illness, a trauma or a surgical operation, we are entirely focused on the well-being of our patients and wish to provide them with all the care necessary for their best recovery.
It is therefore with the aim of accomplishing its mission that the Clinique Valmont makes every effort to be ahead of the game in terms of treatment. Our objective is to provide our teams with new tools in order to offer ever more efficient therapies.
The philosophy of the Clinique Valmont is based on three main axes, which allow our clinic to demonstrate the visionary and innovative character of its therapeutic care.
Innovation plays an important role in our core business - rehabilitation. Clinique Valmont makes it a point of honour to offer state-of-the-art therapies. Since 2017, we have continued to develop our technical platform, notably by acquiring innovative and revolutionary equipment in their field: the Lyra Gait, the REAplan, the MindMotion Go and the Alter G.
In addition, since 2021, cynotherapy has been added to our already diverse range of therapies. This consists of treating motor or psychological disorders with a therapy dog. Sanka, an adorable Bouvier des Flandres, therefore plays an important role in the rehabilitation process of patients, both on a motor and psychological level.
The wealth of the Clinique Valmont lies above all in its therapeutic teams. We recruit the best therapists, all trained by the clinic's teams, who now have proven knowledge and experience in rehabilitation.
In addition, since September 2021, Yves Auberson has joined our team. A former professional golfer and sports coach, he has been suffering from Parkinson's disease since he was 35. Famous for having hiked more than 1,000 km in less than 100 days, Yves wishes to help patients suffering from a neurological disease, like himself, through sport. It was therefore only natural that we opened the doors of the clinic to him, where he now works as a sports coach.
We have always been keen to make the skills of the Clinique Valmont accessible to the entire Swiss population. In the past, the Clinique Valmont had - wrongly - an image of a luxury clinic, reserved for foreign patients. Today, we can proudly say that the clinic has regained its place among the population. It is now recognised as a reference rehabilitation clinic, not only in the canton of Vaud, but throughout French-speaking Switzerland and abroad.
With this in mind, we have also opened a physical and cognitive therapy centre in the centre of Montreux to facilitate access to our outpatient therapies, which are available to anyone with basic health insurance.
