Emergency Centre

The Adult Emergency Care Centre at Clinique de Genolier is open seven days a week from 08:00-18:00.

This service is open to all patients aged 16 and over, regardless of their insurance coverage (including basic health insurance according to the Swiss Health Insurance Act (KVG), accident insurance under the Swiss Federal Law on Accident Insurance (UVG) and international insurance).

Insurance

All outpatient care and treatment provided by the Emergency Centre is available to all patients insured in Switzerland, regardless of their insurance cover, and is subject to the same outpatient fees as in public facilities.

Who has access to the Emergency Centre?

All patients over the age of 16, regardless of their insurance cover, can benefit from treatment at the Emergency Centre (including basic health insurance according to the Swiss Health Insurance Act (KVG), accident insurance under the Swiss Federal Law on Accident Insurance (UVG) and international insurance).

Your care

When you arrive, our care team will welcome you to our facility and a doctor will examine you. Our state-of-the-art on-site medical imaging department and laboratories are perfectly equipped to provide patients with a thorough diagnosis.

If necessary, you may be referred to one of our specialist on-site doctors.

We report back to your GP every step of the way so they are kept fully up-to-date with the situation.

In the event of a life-threatening emergency, such as loss of consciousness, severe chest pain or stroke with paralysis and/or difficulty speaking, please call 144 immediately for assistance.

Getting here

In case of mobility problems, wheelchair assistance can be arranged and our transporters are there to help patients access the clinic safely and comfortably.

Car

Parking is available at each clinic entrance.

Train

For your information, works are in progress on the train line between Nyon and Saint Cergues. The whole line is closed until the 30th of October and train journeys are replaced by buses.

 

From the 31st of October to the 6th of November, works will take place on the line between Nyon and Trélex. This line will also be closed during this period and journeys will be replaced by buses.

 

The buses will run on a modified timetable, so please check https://www.nstcm.ch/ to avoid any inconvenience.
