Swiss Medical Network becomes an official partner institution of the Swiss Network on Safe Procedures
Swiss Medical Network is continuing its active commitment to promoting patient safety in Switzerland and has become an official partner institution of the Swiss Network on Safe Procedures. Through this partnership, Swiss Medical Network is contributing its sites in German-speaking Switzerland, French-speaking Switzerland and Ticino to this national initiative.
This partnership underlines Swiss Medical Network’s clear commitment to an open safety culture, interprofessional collaboration and the continuous improvement of quality in surgical, diagnostic and interventional settings.
The national Swiss Network on Safe Procedures (https://safeprocedures.ch/) promotes nationwide dialogue on safety-related issues and provides a platform for professionals who are jointly committed to safe treatment procedures.
«Patient safety is at the heart of what we do. The partnership with the Swiss Network on Safe Procedures enables us to develop best practices through national dialogue and to actively contribute to interdisciplinary collaboration within the Swiss healthcare system,» says Noëlle Moser-van der Geest, Medical Operations Officer at Swiss Medical Network.
«This partnership with Swiss Medical Network extends our network across the whole of Switzerland and strengthens interprofessional exchanges aimed at advancing patient safety,» adds Karma Brunner, project manager for the Swiss Network on Safe Procedures at the Swiss Patient Safety Foundation.
By joining this network, Swiss Medical Network is sending a strong signal in favour of transparency, learning and shared responsibility within the healthcare sector. The aim is to strengthen the safety culture in the long term and to continuously improve the quality of patient care.
