Swiss Medical Network's 3rd Sustainability Day
From reflection to action, in favour of sustainable health
On 5 June 2025, to mark World Environment Day, Swiss Medical Network held its 3rd Sustainability Day at the Genolier Innovation Hub. The day brought together employees, experts and partners to discuss sustainability issues in the healthcare sector - and, above all, to take action.
Highlights of the programme:
- Strategic messages from CEO Dino Cauzza and Chief Sustainability Officer Dominique Sartori
- An inspiring message from Chitra Subramaniam, media entrepreneur and patron of the day.
- Thematic conferences:
- Environmental regulations (Dr Olivier Epelly)
- Cross-sector sustainability (Alexandra Fabbro)
- Committed artistic performance by Saype
In the afternoon, four interactive workshops turned ideas into concrete action:
- From vision to implementation (Charlotte Vivet, Johnson & Johnson)
- Sustainable use (Guillaume Rottet, Clinique de Valère)
- Reducing glass and plastic bottles (Elodie Frémont, SMN)
- Sustainable mobility 2026: «Tour de Suisse» by bike (Pierre-Alain Gschwend, Clinique Générale Ste-Anne)
This day embodies our desire to fully integrate sustainability into our practices. The concrete ideas that emerge from the workshops will feed into our strategy, so that together we can build healthcare that respects people and the planet.
