International Immersion with Mayo Clinic at Swiss Medical Network
From September 29 to October 2, Swiss Medical Network welcomed a team from Mayo Clinic - consisting of Dr. Dougan, Troy Delaney and Mary Meyer - to its clinics Clinique de Genolier, Privatklinik Bethanien and Clinica Sant'Anna.
The three days were characterized by an intensive exchange and joint workshops with the aim of sharing experiences, analyzing the patient journey and discussing innovative approaches in preventive medicine.
As the only European member of Mayo Clinic Care Network, Swiss Medical Network had the unique opportunity to learn directly from one of the world's leading healthcare networks and implement practical findings in its own check-up programs.
Program highlights:
- Insights into the clinics: Mayo Clinics teams gained comprehensive insights into check-up processes, personalization, radiology, laboratory and coordination. They worked closely with the clinics' interdisciplinary teams.
- Workshops and discussions: In joint sessions, medical, diagnostic and operational processes were analyzed, potential for further development was identified and approaches for continuous further development of the Executive Health programs were discussed.
- Lecture by Dr. Dougan: On October 2, Dr. Dougan gave a lecture entitled «Advanced Preventive Care – a Mayo Clinic Perspective», which provided valuable impetus for the further development of preventive medicine at Swiss Medical Network.
The collaboration demonstrates the importance of international exchange and shared expertise in providing patients with high-quality, personalized and innovative healthcare. The findings from the immersion will be incorporated into the further development of the Executive Health program and help to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the check-up processes.
Swiss Medical Network looks forward to continuing this intensive exchange and further expanding international cooperation as part of its strategy for excellence in preventive medicine and patient-centered care.
