Current practices and innovations in glaucoma management
International Glaucoma Week highlights the disease, which is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide.
Glaucoma is an eye disease, often associated with excessive intraocular pressure, which can cause irreversible damage to the optic nerve.
Nicknamed ‘the thief of sight’, it can occur without obvious symptoms at first, and if the disease is not detected and treated in time, it will lead to irreversible vision loss. Fifty per cent of people with glaucoma worldwide are undiagnosed.
Dr Julien Torbey invites you to a public lecture on Thursday 12 March at 5.30 pm to learn more about the disease and the new treatment options available.
