Public Lecture: Humans & Robots – Precision for Your Artificial Knee Joint

Thursday, 24 September 2026, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Privatklinik Bethanien
Toblerstrasse 51, 8044 Zurich

When knee problems increasingly affect everyday life, many people begin to wonder which treatment options are available and when an artificial knee joint may be considered. What can help relieve pain without surgery? And what role does modern robotic technology play when knee surgery becomes an option?

Knee specialists Dr Samuel Fleischmann and Dr Daniel Wüst provide a clear and accessible overview of today’s treatment options for knee osteoarthritis. They explain which non-surgical options are available for pain relief and how modern robotic technology supports the surgeon when implanting an artificial knee joint.

A special feature of the evening will be a live demonstration using a model. The specialists will demonstrate how robotic technology is used during knee surgery and how it supports the surgeon.
