Dr Daniel Lüscher joins the Board of Directors of Swiss Medical Network

Dr Daniel Lüscher, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kantonsspital Aarau (KSA), joined the Board of Directors of Swiss Medical Network at the beginning of July. He was officially elected at the General Meeting on 30 June 2025 and will take up his position on 1 July 2025.

Dr. Lüscher has extensive and in-depth management experience in the healthcare sector. After starting his career in retail and the public sector, he took on management roles at major healthcare institutions in Switzerland. Among other things, he was CEO of the Cantonal Hospital of Obwalden and the Schaffhausen Hospitals, as well as Director of the Hirslanden Clinics in Bern.

Dr. Lüscher holds a degree in business administration and an Executive Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Business Administration, in the latter of which he also holds a doctorate. Since 1 July 2023, he has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kantonsspital Aarau AG and is also involved in various strategic committees in the Swiss healthcare sector.
