"We have decided to rely exclusively on specialist doctors and not on assistant doctors. So the patient arriving in the emergency room will be faced with a doctor specialising in orthopaedics and traumatology, a physiatrist, or a general practitioner, all with specific training in traumatology and emergency management".
It happens in Ticino, excellence in the orthopaedic field, in the context of a 'new model of care'. And it is explained by Dr. Marco Marano, Head of the Emergency Department at the Ars Medica Clinic.
