LiberaTV - Glaucoma, the “silent thief” of sight that can be stopped with early diagnosis
During World Glaucoma Week, Centromedico Bellinzona Castello conducted 177 screenings and identified 3 cases. Deputy Director Jacopo D’Andrea said, “Awareness of prevention is growing, but there is still much to be done in terms of public education.”
Glaucoma is an insidious condition that is often asymptomatic in its early stages and can progress without obvious warning signs until it seriously impairs vision.

We discuss this with the center’s deputy director, Jacopo Dandrea, who draws attention to a crucial point: today, the tools to protect our vision exist, but we must act in time.
