Run4Charity at StraLugano 2026: Rete Sant'Anna Partners with the Genolier Foundation
On Sunday 27 September 2026, Rete Sant'Anna will take part in the Run4Charity within the StraLugano, supporting the Genolier Foundation, one of the charities chosen this year by the event's Charity Programme.
The appointment is at 2 p.m. in Piazza Manzoni, Lugano, for an afternoon open to the entire population: you can run, walk or simply stroll along a 3 km route, accessible to anyone regardless of age or training level. Mothers with pushchairs, grandparents with grandchildren, families, teenagers and adults: Run4Charity is designed to be inclusive, with no rankings or times to be respected. The only goal is to have fun together, in the name of solidarity.
Every registration counts: the entire proceeds of the participation fees will in fact be donated to the Genolier Foundation, which is committed to guaranteeing patients suffering from serious and chronic illnesses access to high quality medical treatment, care paths and personalised accompaniment programmes within the Swiss Medical Network institutes, with the aim of improving their autonomy and quality of life and encouraging their return to an active life.
Thanks to the funds raised during the Charity Night on 14 November 2025 at the Hotel Splendide in Lugano, the first Centre for Supportive Care was recently inaugurated in Ticino: a concrete result of the Genolier Foundation's commitment to local patients, which initiatives such as Run4Charity now contribute to further support.
Participating in Run4Charity means combining the pleasure of movement with the opportunity to support a project that directly benefits the Ticino community.
