New at the Ostermundigen Medical Center: On-site Social Services Counseling
The Ostermundigen Medical Center is expanding its services to include specialized social work counseling. Starting November 3, 2026, Eva Blessing, a social worker at NB Soziales, will be available for in-person consultations every Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Health is influenced by many factors that go beyond medical care. Difficulties dealing with insurance companies, financial burdens, administrative challenges, or changes in one’s personal circumstances can have a direct impact on well-being.
Social counseling supports those affected with, among other things:
- Questions about social insurance and social benefits
- Inability to work due to illness or accident
- Unemployment
- Budget and financial issues
- Administrative matters
- Separation or divorce
The counseling is offered as a self-pay service and is not covered by mandatory health insurance.
Through this counseling service, we promote holistic care and provide easy access to professional support right here at the medical center.
