Established in 2022 at the Clinique Valmont, the Groupe Parkinson is an interdisciplinary group therapy programme for people with Parkinson's disease.
The Clinique Valmont created the Groupe Parkinson to meet the specific needs of patients with Parkinson's disease, combining several approaches into an interdisciplinary care programme.
The Groupe Parkinson meets every Tuesday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at Clinique Valmont. Each session includes two 45- to 60-minute group therapy sessions, combining different complementary approaches: speech therapy, neuropsychology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy and adapted physical activity.
The programme is open to all individuals with Parkinson's disease who are able to move independently (with or without aids).
A medical prescription for each speciality (physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy) is required. The «group session» box must be ticked.
