Visit to the Clinique de Genolier, Professor Roberto Orecchia, Visiting Professor, European Institute of Oncology, Milano, Italy, May 7.

In the framework of the partnership between Swiss Medical Network and the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, the second visit of Prof. Roberto Orecchia to the Clinique de Genolier took place on May 7 (the first one had been organized in 2024).

During this visit, a scientific meeting was designed as a structured exchange around clinical research, translational oncology, personalized vaccines, and potential strategic collaboration with the European Institute of Oncology.

Updates from the Clinical and Translational Research Unit and a presentation of the Personalized Vaccine Program were first provided by L. Kandalaft. A session led by Roberto Orecchia on strategic collaboration opportunities, including an update on European Institute of Oncology trials. The agenda then turned to the Genolier Innovation Hub strategies, medical oncology interactions between the various entities of the partnership, and finally focused scientific updates in radio-oncology and theranostics.

The meeting concluded with a general discussion and conclusions. Overall, the visit appears intended to strengthen institutional links, identify concrete research and clinical trial opportunities, and coordinate collaboration across oncology, innovation, and translational research activities.
