Postoperative rehabilitation
Hand and wrist rehabilitation is intended for people experiencing reduced mobility, strength or sensitivity following an accident, surgery or illness.
In occupational therapy, our goal is to help you regain optimal use of your hand in order to restore autonomy and comfort in your daily, professional and leisure activities.
We offer a personalized treatment plan including exercises adapted to the type of injury, mobilization techniques and scar management, pain management, sensory retraining, muscle strengthening, as well as improvement of dexterity and endurance. We also provide guidance to support your self-rehabilitation.
Our occupational therapists design custom-made orthoses using a thermoplastic sheet moulded directly on the patient, ensuring optimal comfort and perfect adaptability.
The orthosis is manufactured and provided on the same day as the consultation, allowing for fast and efficient care.
Any necessary adjustments and modifications are included as part of the therapeutic follow-up.
