Robotic knee prosthesis surgery: A growing milestone at Swiss Medical Network

Swiss Medical Network is at the forefront of robotic innovation in orthopaedic surgery. At Privatklinik Siloah, Prof. Dr. med. Heiko Graichen successfully performed the Sigma Partial VRAS procedure using the Sigma HP Partial Knee System in combination with the VELYS™ Robotic-Assisted Solution.

This minimally invasive technique preserves healthy joint structures, ensures precise implant placement with real-time intraoperative data, and offers patients less pain, faster recovery, and a quicker return to daily life.

More recently, at Clinique de Genolier, Dr Roland Gardon achieved another milestone by completing the clinic’s first robotic total knee prosthesis implantation with the VELYS™ system.
