Yoga

Yoga in Geneva: strengthen your body, calm your mind and find your balance.

What is yoga ?

Yoga is a holistic practice that connects the body and mind through postures (asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and meditation. At the Centre for Integrative Medicine, yoga is offered with a therapeutic and personalised approach, tailored to each individual to support physical, emotional and mental well-being.

We offer different types of yoga, each with its own objectives and benefits:

  • Yoga therapy: combines traditional yoga principles with therapeutic techniques to relieve chronic pain, muscle tension, respiratory disorders and stress. The exercises are tailored to individual needs to improve flexibility, strengthen the body and calm the mind.
  • Hormonal yoga: a gentle yet powerful practice aimed at rebalancing hormones through specific postures, breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. It helps regulate the menstrual cycle, support menopause and reduce stress, fatigue and hormonal symptoms.
  • Senior yoga: specially designed for older people, this gentle yoga improves mobility, posture and balance. Accessible postures and breathing exercises relieve tension, strengthen muscles and stimulate circulation, promoting a more peaceful and active daily life.
  • Prenatal yoga: designed for expectant mothers, this yoga helps relieve physical tension, prepare the body for childbirth and promote a deep connection with the baby. The postures and breathing exercises ensure relaxation, circulation and well-being throughout pregnancy.

Each type of yoga is guided by our experienced instructors to ensure a safe practice tailored to each individual, improving both physical health and mental well-being.
