Field training: USI medical students visit our headquarters

We are delighted to share a significant moment that took place in recent weeks at the Sant'Anna Clinic Pediatric Medical Center. We had the pleasure of hosting fifth-year medical students from the University of Italian Switzerland (USI) in Lugano, involving them in an intensive and experience-rich training program.

During their stay, the students were able to explore numerous aspects of prenatal, neonatal, pediatric, and genetic care, appreciating both the quality of the teaching offered and the variety of clinical cases dealt with every day alongside our professionals.

The program also included active participation in occupational therapy, physical therapy, and acupressure sessions, services that are part of our multidisciplinary offering and play an important role in pediatric care. This hands-on experience allowed students to closely observe the different clinical indications and the added value of an integrated approach to children's well-being.

We thank the USI students for their interest and motivation, and we renew our commitment to supporting training programs that contribute to the growth of future health professionals.
